In Revelation 7:9 we see an amazing glimpse of heaven. “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” We were able to get a small taste of this in Haiti this past month. Two languages. 600 Haitians. 34 Americans. One awesome God. Worshiping the King of Glory alongside the Haitian church is truly a humbling experience.

We had an incredible week of ministry in Port Au Prince. We led a team of 34 volunteers from Raleigh, NC and spent eight days serving alongside our partners in Haiti. Our main area of ministry was conducting a youth conference for over 600 Haitian teenagers and conducting a Vacation Bible School for over 100 children from the community.

IMG_3731Our team worked tirelessly, locking arms with the local church to help them reach their community with the Gospel. We saw several students saved and hundreds discipled and encouraged. There were fifteen churches represented at the youth conference at Solidarite Baptist Church. Our dear friend and partner in ministry, Leny Funtecha, has been the pastor there for more than twenty years. We thank God for partnerships, like the one we have with Solidarite Baptist Church, that God is using to reach a world in need of Him. It’s because of men like Pastor Leny that we can minister in Haiti and leave confident that the work will continue long after we are gone. And it’s because of prayer warriors like you that we can go.
