I first met Pastor Ling by way of email more than five years ago. In his first correspondence with me, he introduced himself and his ministry. He shared his vision with me to reach his country with the gospel and included several photos of his house church, orphanage, and children’s ministry. At the end of his email he wrote one sentence that I have heard many times – “Please Pastor Rick, come help us bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our nation.”
His request was not for money or items of personal need. His request was for help in preaching the gospel and training leaders. Pastor Ling continue to write me several times a year. His request remained the same, “When can you come to Myanmar to help us?” After a time of communication with Ling, I felt that God was indeed leading us to partner with him to reach the people of Burma.
We have had the opportunity to lead two missions to Myanmar with our third mission scheduled for November of this year. Pastor Ling is devoted to bringing his people the message of God’s love and forgiveness by reaching people, planting churches, & training leaders.
Over the past twenty years the Lord has allowed us to establish a number of strategic partnerships in other countries. From Cuba to Cambodia, from Venezuela to Vietnam, or from Sudan to South Africa, the call is always the same – “Please come help us.” Your support of this ministry gives us the opportunity to answer their call.
