Located in Southeast Asia, Myanmar (formally known as Burma) is home to over 53 million people. With Buddhism as the primary religion in Myanmar, over 45 million people are still unreached with the Gospel. However, in a country that is deceived and blinded by the darkness of Buddhism, the light of the gospel is beginning to shine! God is doing something truly special in Myanmar right now and we are excited that we get to be a part. We have been incredibly encouraged by the believers there and how they are working to advance the gospel in their nation. We are returning to Myanmar again this Fall and invite you to join us.
The dates for this trip are Tuesday, November 1 – Saturday November 12. The cost will be $3,050. This cost will include airfare, lodging, meals, drinks, transportation, insurance, travel money, ministry costs, etc.
During this trip, we will be partnering with Ling Choi, the pastor of a house church movement in Yangon. Our mission focus will be a three-day church leaders conference, a two-day children’s outreach, and several days of community evangelism. We need a few more volunteers to help with our children’s outreach, so if you love children and sharing the love of Jesus with others, then please pray about joining us on this team. I promise you that you will never be the same.

Many of you already know of Pastor Ling Choi, our ministry partner in Myanmar. They run a gospel outreach ministry and also care for 28 orphans in their home. Pastor Ling does not have a vehicle so he relies on renting taxis to get from place-to-place. The children at his orphanage walk to and from school everyday for an hour each day. This alone has been a struggle for them, however, because they have entered their monsoon season, the children are walking to school in severe flooding. Pastor Ling has asked for our help in raising money to purchase a small passenger truck for them to transport the children as well as for use with other ministry activities. Honestly, this is a big need for them. So we wanted to pass this information on to you our ministry partners and ask for your help. Please pray about how you can help provide for this need.
