Our team has just arrived in Myanmar! We desperately need your prayers as we go into this country that is 90 percent Buddhist. We need the Holy Spirit to go before us and prepare hearts to hear the message of Jesus. Nearly every person we will encounter has been blinded by the darkness of Buddhism and many have spent their entire lives pursuing what is false. But we are going to shine the light of the gospel in this very dark place. We know that when the light shines, the darkness has to flee! Here are some specific ways you can be praying for us:
Thursday & Friday, Nov 9-10
We will have our first two day leadership and discipleship conference. More than 150 pastors and church leaders will join us for two days of intimate worship and teaching sessions.
Saturday, November 11
Pray for the more than 250 children who will hear the gospel throughout the day during our children’ s outreach. Children from the area slums will be brought in for a fun filled day of bible stories, games, food and of course the gospel.
Sunday, November 12
We will be worshiping along side our brothers and sisters at Life Christian Church in Yangon.
Monday, November 13
Pray for us as we have our final leadership conference. This conference will be held outside of the city to reach churches and leaders who live and minister in various regions throughout Myanmar.
Tues & Wed, Nov 14-15
We will be doing house to house and street and park evangelism. Pray that God will open doors and hearts to hear and respond to the gospel.
Thursday & Friday, Nov 16-17
Pray for us as we travel back to the States. Pray that Holy Spirit would continue to work in Myanmar long after we are gone.
